I had learned to cross stitch as a youth in the Young Women's program of my church. I spent hours creating cross stitch projects. As time went on, however, life took over and I had forgotten how to do it. Luckily, I have now been called as a youth leader and one of the other youth leaders taught me how to do it again. Here is my first project. I plan on framing it and hanging it somewhere. Hopefully, I will keep cross stitching so I won't forget how to do it again. :)

Learning the art of Jewelry Making
My grandfather was a master at jewelry design and creation. I've decided to take up this hobby as well. This is a simple watch necklace I came up with.
To give me some basic instruction I bought this little book from Michael's. My sister-in-law gave me some jewelry making tools for my birthday so I already had those.
This is a bead board where I have started about 4 different necklaces or bracelets. I still need to get some more supplies but the design part of this new hobby has been so much fun. I would love any advice from any jewelry designers out there.

More Party Invitations
I was asked to make about 20 of these for a Young Women's activity. It had a Spring theme. I found the supplies at Hobby Lobby and Michael's of course. Where else do I shop?
